We are using SAWVCmd.jar to check out files from the VSS Server using Labels. Most the time this works properly, but there are known issues with the Microsoft Command Line.
We can assign a Label to a directory, and the subsequent Get Latest with Label does not get the proper files. This is a known bug in the Microsoft Command Line tool that exists in the DLL Library.
We use the VSS DLL instead of the Command Line to get around this bug on the Windows machines, but we can't do this on the Mac OS X Server. The VSS DLL requires a recursive call to get around this issue.
We need the SAWVCmd.jar to correctly check out the files by using the -Label command. We know this is a nasty bug, but we need this feature to work.

Do you want to check out or get the files (or a project) by label? Currently, checking out by label is not supported (whether it's on Windows or Mac), you can only get files by label using the SAWVCmd.jar. Is this what you are trying to do?
