Hi,
We work with the VSS version 8.0.50727.42.
Total of about 5 programmers working on two different projects in VSS.

There is something odd Happening to our VSS.
one of our programmer does Check in, getting no error, but the change is not stated In History.
Another programmer, does not see the change in history made by the first developer. and if the other programmer does
Check out he does not see the changes of the first programmer.

First programmer tries to get Latest Version and the VSS informs him that a version is different from the version in Sourcesafe.

This is a very big problem, because that often programmers worked for several weeks without knowing the file Not inserted properly to VSS.

Other programmers who open the file will not see the first programmer added content.

help is appritiated.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,

It seems that your VSS database is corrupt. Please try running your VSS analyze tool to make sure your VSS database is healthy.
