Hello
When I checkin I have the following error message: "File [server]\vss\data\n\nwmaaaaa may be corrupt".
Running Analyze tool (from start/All Programms/...) doesn't help.
How can I fix it ?
May be there is another way to run Analyze tool ?
Thanks.

Hi Michelcardo,

You may take a look at the following article to see if it helps:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/133054

Also, you may try a higher version VSS Analyze tool if the issue persists.

Thanks.

Did you run Analyze tool with "-F" option, which automatically repairs inconsistencies and corruption that are detected? If not, please try it.

Before running the utility with this option, please ask users to log off first.

More info on the Analyze utility:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ysxsfw4x(VS.80).aspx

Thanks.

The link doesn't help me but I found the problem.
On of the file is binary and we work with multiple checkout.
It seems VSS doesn't support multiple checkout for binary files.

Thanks for updating us. I'm glad to hear that you've found the cause of the problem.

VSS only supports multiple checkouts on text files.

Thanks.
