Hello all,

I am using Visual Source Safe 2005, and today I just realized that my history data disappear from mid December 2008 until current.

Does anyone ever experience this?
what can make the VSS data disappear? how to trace this?
how to restore the data back?

Please kindly help.

Hi,

It is possible that someone rollbacked to an old version. In that case, you will lose all the history since that date to current. You may check the history of the item to see if it is the case.
