Hi,

I am trying to write a batch file to get a history of a project from VSS for a particular month. I want to generate the history only for text files(all text files) in my project. There are .fmb files also in the project which should be ignored since they are binary files.

But when i am trying to generate the history report from commandline I am getting the report of .fmb files also which is not in readable format.

Can anybody suggest how to restrict VSS to generate history report for a particular month(i.e fromDate and toDate mentioned) and only for text files from command line.

The report generated should show me the changes, inserts and deletes for all the text files.

Presently I am using this command ss history "$/VSS_DB" -OC:\ssreport.txt -R -Vd10/26/11~10/01/11

to generate history report from commandline but it is giving report for all the files including binary files(.fmb) which should be excluded.



Please suggest me. I need help urgently.
