How can I move a source control folder between Team projects please? Having naively kept all my projects as folders within the Default Team Project I would now like to split them up as I can see the Issue Tracking module does not have a way of identifying to which project an Item belongs. :(

Hi Darwood,

Currently, SCM Anywhere Hosted doesn't support moving foders from one Team Project to another. Our R&D team may consider adding it in the next release.

Actually, you can try the following ways to identify to which project an item belongs:

1). Link an issue to a specific source file (versioned item or changeset) each time you create it.

2). Add a field to each issue type (feature, bug and task). For example, you can add a new field 'Project' to your current form. You can set some values to the new field, such as Project_A, Project_B, Project_C etc..

This way, when a user submit an issue, you can select on the form to which project the issue belongs.

In the future, you may create some Team Projects for your new projects. It should be a more convenient way to manage your projects.

Hope my answer helps. :D

Hi Catherine

Thank you for your good suggestions. I will try using a custom field as temporary workaround and create Team Projects for new projects. I hope R&D add the feature to move source control folders to future versions.

:D You are welcome anytime.

The feature has been forwarded to our R&D team for future consideration. Thanks for the suggestion.
