For those who switch between Visual SourceSafe and SourceAnyWhere IDE integration for source control of web solutions in VS.NET, please note:

The web solution must be created by VSS if you want to switch between VSS and SAW IDE integration for source control of web solutions in VS.NET.

If the web project is initially created by SAW, only .NET with SAW integratoin can load the project. VS.NET with VSS integratin will not be able to load the project.
