I have a high priority issue that I need to get a resolution on ASAP. Periodically (often once every couple of days) loading up an existing project in Visual Studio 2010 would invoke the normal SCM login dialog, and then the various project loading status dialogs would appear very rapidly, and would get to a point where SCM is flashing the dialogs up a few every second, then Visual Studio crashes. Normally a reboot of my system would resolve the issue but now even that is not working.

My project loads fine if I tell it to work temporarily disconnected from SCM.

What options do I have to solve this issue?

May I know the following:

1. Are you using SCM Anywhere MSSCCI Plug-in or VSPackage in Visual Studio 2010? VSPackage is preferred for VS2010. For more info, please click here.
2. Which version of SCM Anywhere Client are you using? And what about the operating system and basic system configuration (physical memory, CPU, etc)?
3. How big is the project (or how many files are in it and the size of it)?

For some reason the project opened OK this morning. It is hit or miss.

I am using the VS Package for Visual Studio 2010.

I am using the 2.2 version of the client.

There are 4 projects in total. The file count is approximately 100 MB and around 2500 files.
