I started testing with SourceAnywhereforVSS. I installed the server software on our server,
where VisualSourceSafe6d already was installed and the client software on my pc. I started the server
and created a new user. The connection between the client and server software works fine, but from
the server to vss it does not work. The Files (srcsafe.ini and so) are on another server. But during my
tests to connect to them I also copied them to the server where SourceAnywhereforVSS and VSS are installed.

This message “The SourceSafe database <path to srcsafe.ini> does not exist. Please select another database“ is in the documentation .
I get this message during all my tests but my Problem is that there where “<path to srcsafe.ini>” stands,
only the username stands. Why happen this? And how can I solve this problem?

From my pc I can easily start VSS, check in/out files and so.

Thanks
