Pin issue 5.3.1.1

Please explain:
When using VSS, a getlatestversion will get the last pinned version if one exists, or the latest version of a file if no pin exists.
For example:
Version 1
Version 2
Version 3 (pinned)
Version 4

A VSS getlatestversion will retrieve Version 3.

When using SAW, a getlatestversion will retrieve Version 4.

Please explain this discrepancy as its causing us significant issues.

For the files pinned in VSS, are they pinned in SourceAnywhere for VSS?

Also, you can upgrade to 5.3.2, the latest version, to see if the issue is still there.

We have users who are local to the server using VSS.
Remote users use SAW.

The files are pinned in VSS but these pins cannot be "viewed" within SAW. Now that I said that, is that why SAW getlatestversion does not pick up the VSS Pinned version?

We did test this using a 5.3.2 client and the same issue exists.

I have the same problem. I cannot see pin symbols which where set with VSS. We use 5.3.2 client+server.

Is there a bug fix available for this issue ?

Yes. We can provide an internal version of SourceAnywhere for VSS with the pin issue fixed. You can email sawvss@dynamsoft.com to get the internal version.
