I am working with the "Pending Changes" window in visual studio 2008 and have a couple questions.

First is it possible to filter the files displayed here by project? My list contains all files for all projects under source control.

Secondly I cannot find a way to uncheck all the files mentioned above other than going thru them one by one.

Thanks.

Hello mirwin,

>>First is it possible to filter the files displayed here by project? My list contains all files for all projects under source control.

Currently SCM Anywhere Hosted VSPackage does not support filtering the files by Visual Studio project. However, you can sort them by project by clicking the "Local Path" column name in the Pending Changes window.

To undo all the pending changes, you can right-click on the solution file in Solution Explorer and then click "Undo...".

Best,

Ok, I have a different take on this. (I was actually going to ask this when I had an idea and wow, it worked(mostly)). I wanted to ask if there was a way to uncheck all the items without undoing all the changes. I work on a bunch of different branches and sometimes I only want to check in a few files, but all items were being selected.
Anyway, I stumbled upon my own answer by accident while writing this reply.
1) Uncheck the topmost file in the window
2) Select the topmost file in the window.
3) Scroll down to the bottom
4) Select the bottommost file
Once you do this, all check boxes (except the bottommost one) will be unchecked. Then just uncheck the bottommost one. It looks like whatever state the topmost file is in is what all the others (except the bottommost) will end up in.
You have to select all the files for this to happen, it won't do this for partials.

Hi Kakoroat,

Thank you for sharing the info with us.

Just a little reminder for others who are reading this post: In step 4, please "select the bottommost file" with the Shift key pressed.

Sincerely,
