Post subject: Operability with VSS 2005 Beta 2
PostPosted: Fri Sep 09, 2005 7:49 am
I'm preparing to evaluate SAW, but have a major question before I begin:

My customer's VSS database is in VSS 2005 (Beta 2) format. We have been using the Internet Plug In and have found it to be almost, but not entirely worthless.

At any rate, will the SAW server work with their database?

Thanks,
-Andy

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your question.

SAW can work with VSS 2005. However, according to our testing against VSS 2005 Beta, it is very likely there are bugs in VSS 2005 Beta that can cause a 'Get Latest' issue in SAW.

There is a post also on this board you can refer to concerning this issue:

Thanks.
