 Post subject: Is it possible to restart VSS without rebooting server

We have an issue that pops up from time to time.
Someone will try to open a webpage in Visual Studio 2008 and when they login to VSS it will state that the database is locked and they are unable to login.

At this point no one will be able to log in to that web project.
We are then forced to reboot the server in order to unlock the web project in VSS.

Is there a way to reset without having to reboot the server?

For this issue, please go to the data\loggedin directory under the VSS Database folder, delete the admin.lck file and try connecting again.
