I use Visual Studio 2005 with VSS 2005 source control to modify the remote website. The website project load time in VS 2005 can be lengthy. I am trying to get the remote website project to work with SourceAnywhere for VSS. I am able to login and check-out files with the SourceAnywhere for VSS client but I cannot get SourceAnywhere for VSS working with VS 2005. I followed the steps in...

On the "Get Project from SourceSafe to Local" window...after hitting the OK button...I receive the following error messge...

"There are no solution or project files in this location. Please select a different location. To open a Web site or for more information click Help."

The Help is not helpful.

How do I get SourceAnywhere for VSS to work with a remote website VS 2005 project?

The message is from Visual Studio. It shows up because there is no solution file in the SourceSafe project you selected in the Project Tree pane in the Get Project from SourceSafe to Local dialog box. Please expand the project tree to the folder where the website solution file resides, and click OK. You may check the SourceAnywhere for VSS client to see where the solution file is.
