You can't sort on dates as they are sorted as text and presented in dd/mm/yyyy format - why not force the format to yyyy-mm-dd format - it's easy and would get round the problem you have with the grid not dealing with dates properly?

Also it would be a huge improvement to include the Edit/Get Latest /Check Out Version options within the directory comparison - as it is you need both Souce Safe Anywhere and Merge Hero windows displayed.

Merging Files

When Merging files why are you forced to browse the file system for both files, far more often than not one of the files you want to merge from is in source safe so you should allow Browse file system and Browse Source safe options. It would be inteligent to default to the local and source safe files in the currently selected file in the Directories Comparison windows.

When merging files I can never save the output - it always tells me there are unresolved issues why is this not just a warning which can be overridden - I have reviews and am happy with my final result - I always have to copy it out to my text editor and save that way.
