For those who want to upgrade to SourceAnywhere Standalone 2.3.1, please follow the instructions below:

1. Backup the database of old version, although the installation program will automatically upgrade the database of old version to that of version 2.3.1.

2. Make sure there isn't any pinned file or project in your repositories.

3. If you upgrade from SourceHero 1.0, please make sure the length of any file or project path (full name) in your repositories does not exceed 384 characters, because item path is limited to 384 characters long in version 2.x.

4. Make sure no repository is being in use.

5. Running the installation program of SourceAnywhere Standalone 2.3.1 will upgrade your SourceAnywhere Standalone automatically. The SourceAnywhere Standalone 2.2 Client is compatible with SourceAnywhere Standalone 2.3.1 Server.

6. Add the Serial Number in the Serial Numbers window of SourceAnywhere Standalone 2.3 Server Manager. For more information, please refer to the following online manual: http://www.dynamsoft.com/help/SAW%20Sta ... umbers.htm
