 Post subject: How do I run SAW on Windows and deploy to a Linux server?

Can someone please tell me how I can use SAW on a windows machine to check in /out and deploy files to a Linux server?

You can check in / check out files in SourceAnywhere for VSS client on Window. To deploy files to a Linux server, you can use the Web Deploy feature. For more information on Web Deploy, please refer to: http://www.dynamsoft.com/help/SAW/CO_Deploy.htm


If you want to check in / check out files to a Linux server, you may try sharing a Linux folder, and then set it as the working folder via SourceAnywhere for VSS client. To enable a Windows machine to access a Linux folder, you need to install SAMBA, which can be found at:
http://www.samba.org

Also, SourceAnywhere for VSS has a Java Client that can work well on Linux. You can download it from the following page:
