We are experiencing a possible issue: unless a user closes all open files in Visual Studio (closes files showing in tabs) the file(s) does not check in. The file appears to be checked in but if you refresh the list in the Visual Studio Solution Explorer window, you can see the file still checked out. If I go to Source Anywhere the file is indeed still checked out to that user. If another user attemts to checked out they receive a message stating that the files is still checked out by another user.

Also, a nice to have would be a message stating who the file is checked out to without having to go look in Source Anywhere..

Did you get any error message when you check in the files? You can get the error message at menu View -> Output. Also, please make sure the "keep items checked out when checking in" option is not checked. With the option checked, files keep checked out after you check them in. The option can be found at "Tools -> Options -> Source Control -> Environment".

You can get the error message at menu View -> Output in Visual Studio without having to go look in SourceAnywhere.You can also view the list of checked out files and names of who checked out the files at "File -> Source Control -> SourceAnywhere for VSS Properties -> Checked Out Status".
