 Post subject: Error while creating virtual directory

I'm installing the issue tracker (trial version) on a server 2008 R2 with SQL 2008 R2. but when the installer want to create the virtual directory, it give the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurd in a component of your application. if you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Cannot create ActiveX component.


and in the box under it:

The application must also be compiled with debugging

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

Does anybody has seen this error before and does anybody know how I can fix this?

Now I find a walkthrough http://kb.dynamsoft.com/questions/390/How+to+install+Issue+Tracking+Anywhere+on+a+Windows+2008+64+bit+machine%3F to install it on a server 2008 x64 machine (I was a little bit confused because there are 2 Knowledge bases 1 in this forum and 1 on the website)

Now it runs, but when I open users to create a user I receive the following error: Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

I have fixed this problem by turning on Enable 32-Bit Applications on the ITA Application Pool. it seems that everything is running fine now
