Hi :)

is it possible to get automatically an email from vss when an user modified and checked in some files?

Hi Capris,

VSS doesn't support the email notification feature.

To achieve your goal, I recommend the following two ways:

1. Migrate from VSS to SourceAnywhere Standalone without losing any data history. The latest version of SourceAnywhere Standalone enables users to configure notification that are sent to related parties by Email when certain events occur in the specified projects.

2. Upgrade to Team Foundation Server (TFS). You can check the link below for more information.
