We have a question concerning the SourceAnywhere server log.txt file which logs activity to the MS VSS dataabse through the SourceAnywhere client. Our administrators want email notifications sent when projects are checked in, check out, or modified. This information is stored in the log.txt file. Is there any third party software that will parse this log file and send emails based on criteria specified? We have looked at other third party software, ie. SSMonitor and Acorden VSSaction, but these programs only sends email from actions recorded in the Microsoft VSS journal.txt file. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no third-party tool parsing the Log.txt of SourceAnywhere for VSS to send out notification email.

But still, since all the operations through SourceAnywhere for VSS server should be recorded by journal.txt of VSS, you can use the VSS third-party tool to send out notifications.
