I just started checking source anywhere as a version control tool.
I tried comparing 2 versions of a xaml file , and I get a message :"Binary files differ" .
comparing cs files is working fine.
This is an option I need to change somewhere or the tool can't compare xaml files ? How about native xml ?

Thanks
Amit

Great
Thanks

One more newbie question. In my VSS history , I could change the default behavior of the version control to ask me for permission before checking out a file (when I edit it the first time) . I couldn't find this option in the VS 2008 IDE and the source anywhere plug in . Is it available ?

Thanks again
Amit

Do you mean default behavior on editing a file?

If yes, you can find an option in Visual Studio Tools->Options->Source Control->Environment->On Edit dropdown list.

If no, would you please let us know how you set the behavior in SourceSafe or email us a screen shot?

Regards.

Thanks Catherine. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I missed that option (looked at the plug in dialog).
