Hi,

I'm using the java command line client 5.3 and want to use the 'Dir' command like this:

sawwrapper Dir -prj '$/MyProject/MyDir'

(where sawrapper handles all default argumens like port, server etc).

What I get is:

Connect to server...: Connected to server successfully
Login...: Completed
Project not found

Instead, if I use i like this:
sawwrapper Dir -prj '$/'

it shows me the list of all toplevel 'projects', which is OK.

Is this the intended behaviour of the 'Dir' command? So specifying any subproject is not meant to work?

When I set the -r (recursive) option, I indeed get the whole list of all files and folders. But this is far too much output and takes a long time.

On the other hand, the 'GetFileList' operation cuts long filenames and outputs names in a form
AVeryLongFileN~1
Which makes it useless for furher scripting also.

So my question is: Is there any way to the the list of files (and folders) in a given node of the project tree?

Thanks,
Alex.

Hi Alex,

This is a known issue of SourceAnywhere for VSS Java Command Line. If you like, our development team can work out an internal version with the issue solved for you. You can contact sawvss@dynamsoft.com for the internal version.

Thanks.

Hi Catherine,

I can live with the situation so far, no need for an internal version.
Thanks for your answer,

Alex.
