I am noticing some strange behaviors with regards to the Checkin comments in the latest version (some of which are holdovers from previous builds). When you check in a file that is at least the second edit version of a file and provide a comment, I would think that the most recent comment you provide would become the comment shown when you right click on a file and select the Properties menu selection. I am finding that it reports the FIRST comment you entered.

The second issue is when you check out that same file for edit (to make a third edit) it preloads the Comments text box with the LAST comment you entered. Why is it remembering the previous comment? I should think that text box should be empty for the latest edit. As it is you have to erase the comment (or provide a new one) or it will stamp the most recent file with the same comment twce.

Currently, Comment at "Properties -> General" shows the comment of the first version. If you want to get the comment of another version, you can check the Comment column at the history explorer (right-click the file and click Show History). Also, we will add your request to our feature list for future consideration.

When you check out a file, SCM Anywhere Standalone will not preload the comment you last entered. Would you please double check it? If you like, you can contact us via LiveHelp:
