We have gone through every permissions out there and it seems I have them all but when I go to check out files I have not created absolutely nothing happens.

When I click "View" it pulls up the read only files in Visual Studios, but when I "Check out" or "Edit" nothing happens, just leaves me on the Source Safe Client.

Now if I have created a file and add it to our working folder I can check it out and in all day long.

Anyone experience this problem?

Did you get any error message? Also, can you successfully check out the files to a folder other than the working folder? The "Check out" dialog box prompts when you click "Check out". If this is not the case, you can press the Shift key while clicking to bring the dialog box out.
