I have a question about how to use branching and tips regarding branching in SourceAnywhere Hosted. I have a project that is stable and ready for production. My scenario is pretty basic, I just want to be able to branch and work on the next release, while keeping a copy of the current version for bug fixes, and be able to merge the two in the end. However, since my project is quite large, I would only like to branch a certain folder and not the entire project (if that is possible). Also, once the project is branched, how do I keep the two seperate and know which one I am working on? I have not used branching before, so I just wanted some guidance on how to achieve this so that I don't corrupt anything in anyway possible.

Yes. You can branch a certain folder in SourceAnywhere Hosted

You can either branch a shared project or a history version project.
See the following online manual for more information: ... Branch.htm

You can branch the folder into a directory named with Dev and working on it for the next release.
