Is encryption not supported in the JAVA client? If not, will it ever be? If so, when?

The encryption is not supported in SAW 4.0 Java client currently.

Actually, we have added encryption and proxy support to Java client already and is doing the test.

The release date is not decided and should not be very far away.

Also, our Java client command line utility will be available soon.

Hi, I noticed that proxy support has been added to the JAVA client, but not encryption. You indicated that you were testing both a while ago. Were there problems with the blowfish encryption that prevented it from being released at the same time as proxy support? We have several developers who work on other OS platforms (Mac, Linux), and they are currently forced to have a dedicated Windows machine or dual boot in order to access SAW. This feature would make their lives a lot easier.

The blowfish encryption feature is going to be added to next version of SAW Java Client.

SAW Java Client 4.2 is expected to be released shortly. Please check back often for updates.
