We have several members work in a team. Whenever any of my team member check-in a file, the same file is updated in our project automatically without request us to do explicit “Get Latest Files”.
Is there a setting concerning this issue?

There is an "Automatically refresh file list" option in SourceSafe menu Tools->Options->View Tab.
